Miller Valentine Construction

Miller Valentine Construction is a commercial general contractor and design-builder headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with additional offices in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, and Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina. It was founded in Dayton in 1963 as a general contractor specializing in highway and bridge construction, and by the late 1960s was developing industrial and office buildings throughout southwest Ohio. Beginning in 2018 it spun off ancillary businesses, including its affordable housing, commercial property management and brokerage divisions, and in September 2021 retired the Miller-Valentine Group brand, operating thereafter as two entities, Miller Valentine Construction and MV Investment. On June 30, 2026 the construction company became 100% employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, announced in a July 6, 2026 press release. No trustee, lender, valuation firm or other transaction advisor has been publicly named, and the company declined to disclose how the transaction was financed.
