Michael Kramer

Since 2000, I've been an Investment Advisor with Natural Investments who exclusively manages portfolios of sustainable, responsible and impact investments. Natural Investments' 22 advisors across 10 states manage over $1.9 billion for individuals, families, non-profits, family offices, foundations, and businesses nationwide. We are committed to community empowerment, poverty alleviation, racial equity, regenerative agriculture and forestry, and environmental sustainability.

From 2007-2023 I was a Managing Partner of the firm. In 2023, we established the Natural Investments Purpose Trust, which became the sole entity owner of the company. I am one of seven Trust Stewards of the Trust and continue to lead the firm as a Manager. I direct our investment research and oversee our 33-year-old Heart Rating of ESG funds, available on our website.

I have served on the Policy Committee of USSIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investing (the industry national trade association) for many years. I was a member of its Board of Directors from 2018-2020.

I am co-author of “The Resilient Investor: A Plan for Your Life, Not Just Your Money”, which helps people prepare for uncertainty by designing resilient life plans that activate our time, energy, and money and engage our personal, tangible and financial assets in local, global, and cutting-edge evolutionary investment strategies.
